How can a staircase enrich our everyday use?
In a society designed to function as best as possible, human understanding of its environment is increasingly fading into the background. The narrow corridor of everyday life leads us to our already planned goals and excludes the moment of surprise. The proposal for an architectural element of a staircase dares an attempt to make a challenge by overcoming a height difference. It has the claim to claim the mindfulness and thus to be for his user in a moment of here and now. The staircase stands as a symbol of an ancient movement as a free sculpture in space. No railing. No glass. No steel. It celebrates the material concrete in an elementary way.
