24 Fév 180 – Sea Stairway
The original staircase is a hidden gem built in the coastline of Sai Wan for swimmers. It leads to the infinite sea. We imagine extending it to another infinity, the sky. The stairs gradually descend to the water and soar up high into the air.
Stairs change our perspective and views from different levels. The water level also changes the way we perceive the stairs.
During high tides, the end of the staircase stands amidst the heart of the sea, like a distant and mysterious island, only reachable during mid tides and low tides. The concrete blocks together with the scaffolding reveals itself in low tides, like concrete blocks floating in the air.
